Equity Internet: a Division of Beaver County

Named for the original settlement located at the heart of Beaver County, (now called Ryley), Equity Internet is an innovative undertaking to provide wireless high-speed internet service, and more, throughout Beaver County. The challenge of building a wireless network from scratch, and under such daunting geographical conditions is not a small one, but County Council believes this to be an important service for businesses and residents, and will persevere.

Tofield School, Tofield Municipal Library, Tofield Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Tofield and Industry Canada are the partners in this community effort, a Community Access Program(CAP) site.

What?

All the resources of the internet, literally at your fingertips.

Where?

From your own home or business computer, or via the free Public Access terminal at Tofield Library.

When?

Anytime, all the time on your own computer, or during regular library hours.

Why?

to provide affordable access to the community, in partnership with the community.

How much?

Not much! TCNAP is community-based and operated, so it can offer internet access for a very competitive price.

Fees

Please contact Town of Tofield, or Tofield Municipal Library for current rates. Payment is by post-dated cheques, or a reduced annual rate via a single payment in advance. Refund for unused months on cancellation; surcharge for exceeding maximum monthly usage.
