Mission Statement

It is the purpose of Tofield/Ryley/Beaver Family & Community Support Services to enhance the quality of life of the residents, through the development of preventive programs and services designed to encourage volunteerism, promote well-being, and strengthen the individual, family and community.

FCSS:

• Is preventative in nature
• Enhances, strengthens and stabilizes family and community life
• Helps people to develop independence and strengthen coping skills
• Helps people develop interpersonal and group skills which enhance relationships
• Promotes volunteerism
• Encourages and facilitates cooperation and coordination
• Promotes, encourages and facilitates the development of stronger communities
• Promotes citizen participation
• Enables local decision making
