CompostingPlans are available to build your own aerobic composters. Pre-built composters are no longer available at the Beaverhill Lake Nature Center, now closed for the season. Ink Cartridges and Cell PhonesAll used computer ink cartridges and no longer useful cell phones can be turned into food for our local food Bank through the "Think" and "Phones for Food" programs. Please save these items -- they can be dropped off at the Busy B Bargains store at 4903 - 52 Avenue (next to Tofield Legion). You may also call 662-3511 and leave a message, and a volunteer will pick-up your items as soon as possible. This is an ongoing program that will limit the environmental impact of this type of waste.
