Attractions

Tofield's own Museum and Nature Centre are of the highest calibre, and always worth a visit. Tofield is located close to provincial attractions such as Elk Island National Park, and Cooking Lake - Blackfoot Grazing, Wildlife & Provincial Recreation Area.

Major Events

Clubs and Groups

Lion's Playground and parkThere are active sports groups for many interests and all age groups in the Tofield area. These include: dog sledding, hockey, curling, horse clubs, tae kwon-do, golf, dance, baseball, skating, fast ball, baseball and slow-pitch, swimming, soccer, and more.

Other recreational groups include: darts, cribbage, 4-H and all branches of the Scouting movement, sea cadets, painting, gardening, quilting, and no doubt others overlooked here.

Service organizations are represented by Lions, Masons, Legion #91, Health Centre Ladies' Auxiliary, Volunteer Fire Department, Friends of the Tofield Municipal Library, Busy B Bargains a widely-acclaimed volunteer-run recycling and thrift shop complex, and more. There are many opportunities to participate and volunteer, whatever your interests.
