Leisure Facilities Master Plan

June 19, 2007: The Community Development Board is launching a process to develop a Master Plan for all Parks and Facilities in the Town of Tofield. Please read the Press Release for full details.

Tofield Community Hall

• Conveniently located on the main street.

• Capacity 350 (main hall), 75 (meeting room).

Tofield Arena

• Located on Tofield Fairgrounds.
• Summer and winter (ice) bookings accepted.
• Public Skating times posted at arena
• Tables and chairs available and included in the rent.
• Washrooms, concessions, showers, meeting room etc.
• Competitive rates year round!

Tofield Curling Rink

• Located on Tofield Fairgrounds.
• Summer bookings (April through October).
• Winter (ice) bookings (November through March).
• Lounge, concession, washrooms, or entire facility available for rent.
• Fees dependent on season.

Tofield Fairgrounds

• 3 shale diamonds and one baseball diamond.
• Picnic area, outdoor plumbed washrooms, horseshoe pit, volleyball court, gymkhana arena, outdoor concession and more.
• Ample camping makes Tofield an ideal location to host ball tournaments.
• Showers and indoor washrooms/concessions available.

Tofield Golf Course

• Located on south side of Hwy. 14 opposite Town entrance
• Privately owned, public golf course
• 9 holes, driving range, club house
• Tournament and special event bookings

• Open 3rd weekend April to end of October

Beaverhill Lake Nature Center and Museum

• Open 10-5, 7 days a week, July-August
